New Apps on COBO-Smartphones should be added automatically (or with checkbox in App-Preferences) to desktop. Until now, all new apps are only visible in the "All Apps" Screen.19 votes
Thank you for your feedback. We are investigating the incorporation of this request as a feature within a future release.
Would like to see any devices that are sent via inventory discovery to the KACE SMA to show up as "Mobile" "Asset Subtype"
Currently, devices show up with the Asset Subtype = "none" this is useless. Please have these devices show up as "Mobile" Asset Subtype instead if possible.
Thank you.16 votes
We are looking into this issue and attempting to determine what SMA release this can be inserted into.
Would like to have the ability to auto generate reports that could be emailed according to a schedule. We would like to have the ability that once a device has been MIA for a predetermined time frame, a report that is auto generated. I know that there a manual option but automation also helps out as we do not have the time to run these reports daily.15 votes
Thanks for this feedback request! We'll review this further to see where it can be placed within our backlog.
F.e. instead of OS and Model, change this to Notes or IMEI, like the customizing in KACE SMA Devicelist3 votes
We appreciate your feedback and your submission of this request. We will add this to our product backlog and investigate this potential enhancement.
After the successful completion of the Android rollout, the "Unenroll" button is displayed directly in the app. This caused confusion for some of our users. They unrolled their device directly after the rollout.
It would be better to initially hide the option at this point or present it less inviting.3 votes
Thanks for pointing this out! We have included this item for consideration with the dev team and are reviewing it further.
It seems that the command line option when you edit Win10 apps only allows up to 128 characters. If there's any configuration with the .msi installer, you may not have enough room for the full command. I'd like to see this opened up to 1000+ characters or at least allow a batch or zip file to be uploaded.3 votes
Instead of using various kiosk apps, it would make sense for KACE to provide a kiosk app that would fully function with the MDM product.
Every app kiosk app is different and not geared toward any one provider. It would be beneficial for a kiosk app to produced that functions with configuration KACE has developed with the MDM.3 votes
Thanks for this interesting feedback request! We'll be looking at this further to see where it warrants a spot in the backlog.
The three user roles that currently are available in MDM should have the ability to either alter an existing role or the ability to create new roles for limiting user rights. The current roles give too much authority. We use a vendor for after hour support and the current three roles are either too little or too much authority.3 votes
Thanks for this feedback request! We agree that access controls and roles could use some further investigation, so we're adding this to our backlog to see where we can fit this into a future release.
Currently we can only choose an OU of users to import using the LDAP Sync Service. It would be easier for us to create a security group called "Cell Phone Users" and only manage our users that will actually be using KACE MDM instead of everyone in the org.1 vote
Thanks for this feedback request! We'll continue to investigate this further.
Add ability to run commands with software install on macOS. The feature is already available on Windows software installs.1 vote
Thanks for this feedback request! We're adding this to our notes for further investigation.
Please add snooze options to macOS updates/upgrades in the KACE MDM. We can upgrade Macbooks, but the user is only prompted with a 60-second countdown from the macOS. They cannot stop the countdown, so this could interrupt their work. It would be great if the snooze options looked similar to the SMA patching prompts.1 vote
Thanks for this feedback! We're looking into your request and will place it in our feature list for further investigation.
Currently in Wi-Fi configurator there is no options to configure a WPA-3 network. WPA-3 has been available for about 2 years now.1 vote
Thanks for this request! We will bring this into our backlog discussion to see where we can fit this in.
