How can we improve the KACE Cloud product?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. After the Android rollout the "Unenroll" button should not be displayed directly

    After the successful completion of the Android rollout, the "Unenroll" button is displayed directly in the app. This caused confusion for some of our users. They unrolled their device directly after the rollout.
    It would be better to initially hide the option at this point or present it less inviting.

  3. Customize Device List

    F.e. instead of OS and Model, change this to Notes or IMEI, like the customizing in KACE SMA Devicelist

  4. Set Deployment times

    I have a current policy that i am testing. However the policy has been pushing out at 9pm every night. I think it would be beneficial to schedule pushes (Selecting a window 12-2pm). So users can get the push during business hours and if they need assistance they can stop by the IT dept for assistance.

  5. Deploy security patches for macOS

    Add the ability to check for, deploy and report on macOS security patches since patching is no longer supported on the SMA for Big Sur and later.

    This is a great request, and we’re glad you brought it up.

    This basically exists today within the MDM product, albeit without the formal scheduling features you may be accustomed to within the SMA. We are looking into extending MDM functionality to accommodate that sort of thinking/logic/operation into the product.

  7. Ability to use the LDAP Sync Service with group membership instead of OU.

    Currently we can only choose an OU of users to import using the LDAP Sync Service. It would be easier for us to create a security group called "Cell Phone Users" and only manage our users that will actually be using KACE MDM instead of everyone in the org.

    Add ability to run commands with software install on macOS. The feature is already available on Windows software installs.

  9. Add snooze options for macOS updates/upgrades via KACE MDM

    Please add snooze options to macOS updates/upgrades in the KACE MDM. We can upgrade Macbooks, but the user is only prompted with a 60-second countdown from the macOS. They cannot stop the countdown, so this could interrupt their work. It would be great if the snooze options looked similar to the SMA patching prompts.

  10. Add WPA-3 Wi-Fi security options in Wi-Fi configurator

    Currently in Wi-Fi configurator there is no options to configure a WPA-3 network. WPA-3 has been available for about 2 years now.
