Similar to using UltraVNC, Teamviewer, (other remote assist) etc. to remote assist devices listed in the K1000 appliance. Specifically iPads/iOS devices. But instead of using one of the programs above, it would be integrated into the Kace MDM enrollment install.36 votes
Thank you for your feedback. We are investigating the incorporation of this request as a feature within a future release.
Have the possibility to Monitor, Control and Manage the User Data Usage.
And alert the administrator, if the user reaches the usage limit assign to that specific user.16 votes
Thank you for your request! We are reviewing this to see where we can fit this into our product roadmap.
I want to give my iOS users the possibility to install the apps they need from a managed collection of apps.
With Android the PlayStore in the workspace already offers such a function, it would be nice to create a corresponding equivalent on iOS.8 votes
Thank you for this feedback. We have this idea currently documented and it is under review by our dev team. Stay tuned for future updates for this potential feature.
Allow management of users and devices with REST API.
It will allow to integrate company IT management applications.8 votes
Thank you for submitting this feature request.
We realize the importance of API communications and, regarding the external publishing of our API, we will insert this into our ideation processes and determine its placement within our product backlog.
It would be great to have an option where you could check out a device to a user/department and add when it was checked out/checked in.6 votes

Currently, there is no way to bulk remove local user accounts across all devices.
Our use case. Initially, all our devices have been set up with a common local admin account for management purposes. Since this is no longer needed, there should be a way to bulk remove instead of going through each individual device (we have 700+ devices) and remove said account. Very cumbersome5 votes
Since there is no current way to bulk remove Local Accounts, I'm asking for a way to at least have reporting for Local User Accounts.
Recently reached out to Kace Support and there is no way to search, filter and sort for certain accounts that are list on certain devices. This means my team must go through each devices (we have 700+) to search for a local account and delete. As a follow up, we have to go back and check that it has been removed. Very tedious. Would love to see this added!5 votes
MDM should have the ability to limit data usage criteria over LTE for certain apps as defined in policy..
MDM should have the ability to limit data usage criteria over LTE for certain apps as defined in policy. Limit the ability of the end user to use LTE data for certain apps and force WiFi ONLY. This could be used for streaming video and other data intense apps to limit LTE data overages.3 votes
Thanks for presenting this idea!
I like the concept of being able to help in the managing of data usage where possible with policies. I’ll take this back to the dev team and we’ll see where this fits in our backlog.
It would be appreciated if it were possible to distribute user certificates to the mobile devices via SCEP.3 votes
This is a great feature request and is already within our product backlog. We understand the importance of certificate deployment for our customers and we’re glad you brought this up.
We’ll update this request as we make more progress with this potential feature.
Please add Shared iPads to your MDM. As a school, we have multiple students using a single device and their progress in educational apps can be saved for each student when they have their own login. Not sure why this isn't enabled as other MDM solutions have it. Its a very important feature that apple has had for a long time. This should be a priority.3 votes
I have a current policy that i am testing. However the policy has been pushing out at 9pm every night. I think it would be beneficial to schedule pushes (Selecting a window 12-2pm). So users can get the push during business hours and if they need assistance they can stop by the IT dept for assistance.2 votes
Thanks for the great idea! We have this item under review with the dev team and will inform you here when progress has been made or a path determined for this request.
Can change background or add logo in Kiosk mode.1 vote
Thank you for submitting this request! We will include this in our backlog and review its potential place within a future product release.
Currently there is no reporting in KACE MDM. I'd like to see some reporting available. Some items would be: Location, User not checking in, devices not compliant, etc.1 vote
We have a beta version of Reports available for use within the product. Please feel free to provide any feedback you may have that would help us improve this feature.
Add the ability to check for, deploy and report on macOS security patches since patching is no longer supported on the SMA for Big Sur and later.1 vote
This is a great request, and we’re glad you brought it up.
This basically exists today within the MDM product, albeit without the formal scheduling features you may be accustomed to within the SMA. We are looking into extending MDM functionality to accommodate that sort of thinking/logic/operation into the product.
