Agent Install arguments to provision into specific org
It would be useful for complicated Org setup and unreliable filters (currently an issue with the LDAP/AD query in the public release) to be able to specify the destination Org during the install with an argument. This would allow for overriding the filters when needed, and offer much more control to ensure devices get to the intended destination.

Include common hash values for executables in software inventory
These values can be useful for quickly grabbing a hash value and comparing it from those in threat intel feeds or other security tools. Especially when getting hashes from installed software to blacklist in other tools.

macOS Device Actions
With the introduction of the updated agent in version 9.0 that uses the agent to run device actions instead of the browser, it should now be possible to create device actions for macOS clients. Ideally this would be implemented in a way that would show device actions for macOS computers only on macOS devices, and Windows actions for those devices.

Built-in MonitorInfo capabilities
As an admin, I would like to be able to view more detailed info about my monitors via Kace SMA inventory.
As a workaround, I can use the following tool MonitorInfo:
https://www.itninja.com/question/k1000-how-to-get-monitor-s-model-and-serial-number
However, having this level of detail without extra work would save me time, as well as having it provided possibly across Windows/Mac/Linux

View Application & Windows Patch State on the Client
It would be a great idea to show the enduser the current state of the Patching Process.
The Enduser should be able to see which Application and which patch is currently beeing installed.
I have found some other ideas about this already but they all have been closed as "completed" but there is nothing like this in the current Version of K1000 8.1.

Detect per user installs
Some software installs only for the current user to avoid needing admin rights. It would be great if the agent could detect that and list it with the rest of the software, maybe by adding (username) at the end of the description to indicate it is only for one user.

Multiple agent logos for different labels
Right now it is possible to enable a custom logo on the agent kuseralert-popup.
Multiple orgs can have different logos there.
But sometimes there are machines in the same org which need different logos:
For instance:
The same company but different locations.
Each location needs its own logo but does not need an own org (since the remaining stuff like MI and Scripts are 1:1 the same, also the same team but for some reasons they should have a different logo)1 vote -
Fix Amp.conf File So It Doesn't Reconfigure
Our K1000 is not available when you are not connected to our network. So when laptops leave our network to do work at home the agent continues to try to check in. Over time, because the agent can't connect to the server, the amp.conf deletes out all the configuration data, and the machines stop checking in. We have over 200 machines that have this problem. We then have to track these all down and reinstall the agent. But since this continues to happen we are never able to really make much progress.

Regular Auto Update of Agents Regardless of Version
I can think of no good reason why an older version of the KACE agent shouldn't be automatically updated, and now that the latest version will not talk to v6.x we are stuck updating 100+ machines manually (uninstalling/reinstalling) where the Group Policy Tool isn't getting it done. Please cause the K1000 Code to reach out and auto update all agents to the latest version, on a regular basis, regardless of version. In the case of the ports being mismatched it could connect on port 443 to get the upgrade done and nothing else. Also the agents should not reboot the…

Ability for KACE agent to run in as an elevated user
Have the ability for the KACE agent to run scripts and managed installs as an elevated user. The way Bomgar client works.
That way we wouldn't have to always run scripts for Windows 10 as local system. Local system can't add registry keys to HKCU hive and it also causes issues with installations that need access to the user profile folder

Software inventory disks esclusion
We have many workstation with fiber connected storages.
This volumes are mounted in Windows as disks, but the storage hardware is shared among many clients.
When the inventory starts the multiple disk access made are killing the storage performance making user experience with software using these volumes extremely bad.On this disks we don't have any applications, just video files, so there is no need for the Agent to do a software inventory on them.
I would like to propose a disk esclution flag\rule to esclude specific disks from inventory scan.
Thanks.

Allow ability to customize agent size
We would like to be able to customize the size of the agent on the computer.
It would also be nice to be able to use HTML tags to customize the font to add importance to the notification.
Lastly it would be nice to be able to display a different message on the final prompt before reboot to notify users to save their work as the computer has reached the last reprompt interval and will be forced to reboot.1 vote -
Agent autonomy
Program agents so that they queue directives, schedules, and tasks from management appliance. The agents will use this information to work without the direct control of the K1000 so they can carry out said directives, schedules, and tasks in the event the K1000 is unavailable.

Able to quickly see what computers are currently have a pending reboot for any OS or third party software
And to be able to use this information as a smart label.
I have an issue where I want to update Windows 10 and new servers to the latest Kace agent, but some of them are in a pending reboot state. If you push the new agent to them it will automatically reboot the system without warning because the msi reboot flag is tripped. If I could quickly tell if the device has a pending reboot and be able to use a label to limit it, I could avoid this problem.6 votes -
