  2. Apply label to Device from Ticket

    Inside the ticket, where a user's device is pulled through, it would be very helpful to be able to apply labels to said device from a context menu. This would help in instances where, say, a software install is requested, and the label for said install can be applied by the technician directly from the ticket.

    I currently need to click the (i) button, then 'view details', then apply the label to the machine, which takes me off of the ticket. Being able to do this directly on the page would be a great help.

  3. OS based notifications instead of multiple Kace Popups

    Sometimes it can happen that multiple popups occur which is not always a good thing, especially if a fullscreen tool is used.
    If possible send the KACE popup informations to the OOS using the OS based notifications

  4. Need an advanced search/ Smart label field that uses A calendar to pick a specific date.

    Currently, if you want to look at a ticket or ANY item that was created on a particular day, you cannot choose equals, since the date is stored differently than displayed, and includes a time stamp.
    So, if i wanted to look for a ticket created on 9/9/20, I would do an advanced search like this.

    Created > (choose date) 9/9/20 and
    Created < (Choose date) 9/10/20
    This would get you all created on 9/9/20
    Boy wouldnt it be swell if you could just choose
    Created equals and use calendar to pick a day.

  5. Detect per user installs

    Some software installs only for the current user to avoid needing admin rights. It would be great if the agent could detect that and list it with the rest of the software, maybe by adding (username) at the end of the description to indicate it is only for one user.

  7. Option to show KACE Agent in Programs and Features

    KACE Agent appearance in Programs and Features was removed in version 6.x. Could an option be added either during installation or preferrably as an agent option in the Administrator Interface to show the KACE Agent in Programs and Features?

  9. Deploy Kace agent via SSH public/private key authentication

    It would be great if we could deploy Kace clients to machines that use public/private key authentication. Basically, upload the key plus enter the user ID and deploy agents.

  10. Smart label creation without needing inventory

    when creating a smart label for devices we can test for how the query will work. if there is already an existing inventory for the devices in the database there should not exist the need to wait for an inventory to occur. the agent inventory should only cause the device to be re-evaluated and apply membership.

  13. Allow ability to customize agent size

    We would like to be able to customize the size of the agent on the computer.
    It would also be nice to be able to use HTML tags to customize the font to add importance to the notification.
    Lastly it would be nice to be able to display a different message on the final prompt before reboot to notify users to save their work as the computer has reached the last reprompt interval and will be forced to reboot.

  14. Regular Auto Update of Agents Regardless of Version

    I can think of no good reason why an older version of the KACE agent shouldn't be automatically updated, and now that the latest version will not talk to v6.x we are stuck updating 100+ machines manually (uninstalling/reinstalling) where the Group Policy Tool isn't getting it done. Please cause the K1000 Code to reach out and auto update all agents to the latest version, on a regular basis, regardless of version. In the case of the ports being mismatched it could connect on port 443 to get the upgrade done and nothing else. Also the agents should not reboot the…

  15. Multiple agent logos for different labels

    Right now it is possible to enable a custom logo on the agent kuseralert-popup.

    Multiple orgs can have different logos there.

    But sometimes there are machines in the same org which need different logos:
    For instance:
    The same company but different locations.
    Each location needs its own logo but does not need an own org (since the remaining stuff like MI and Scripts are 1:1 the same, also the same team but for some reasons they should have a different logo)

  16. Alerts to Users instead of Devices

    Ability to send messages to users instead of devices. We have users that use multiple shared devices. It would be nice to send an alert to an LDAP user or LDAP group so the alert goes to the most recent machine they were logged into.

  17. Built-in MonitorInfo capabilities

    As an admin, I would like to be able to view more detailed info about my monitors via Kace SMA inventory.

    As a workaround, I can use the following tool MonitorInfo:

    However, having this level of detail without extra work would save me time, as well as having it provided possibly across Windows/Mac/Linux

  18. OS version from Linux machines is not shown anymore with latest agent in

    The OS information is incomplete now. It only shows the "PRETTYNAME" value from /etc/os-release and is not showing the OS version anymore. Please append the "VERSIONID" from /etc/os-release as it was in previous versions of the agent. This affected our reports and inventory.

  19. It would be nice to have the ability to archive/start the archive process from a client uninstall. IE a command line option to archive

    When processing a batch of computers out of system it would be nice to have an archive option from the client uninstall. IE a switch that triggers an archive in the DB when the client is uninstalled with that switch.
