  1. Generate report via email without a schedule

    Currently we allow reports to be scheduled or generated via the UI. Sometimes I just want to generate as an attachment ad-hoc and email to a user or address. Adding a generate to Email button to the existing formats might open a dialogue and prompt for the address and report attachment type.

  3. Put the preview back in the Report Wizard so you can see the results before saving it.

    The Report Wizard used to allow you to preview the results of your report before saving it so you can make changes. Would like this feature added back.

    It would be very helpful to be able to have scheduled reports saved to a folder location (network share) as an additional option to e-mail.

  8. Report Scheduling Using DLs

    As it stands, KACE cannot use distribution lists when scheduling reports. It would be a benefit to make KACE able to send to distro lists. Instead every email address has to be entered manually.

  9. Add Ability to Append Date, Time, or Date and Time, to Attachment Name in Scheduled Reports

    Allow the ability to add either the date, time, or date and time that the report was run to the name of any attachments in scheduled reports.

    As it stands, I have to manually add the date to every attachment received in reports that are ran before archiving those for auditing purposes. This adds up to several hours a month that is spent in renaming files, when adding the ability to add a variable to a report name or the option to append the desired information to the name of the attachment would be very beneficial, especially since this is…

    Add the option to Disable Custom Inventory Fields so they can easily be reactivated when needed.
    Sometime it can take a lot of effort to obtain the Custom Inventory desired. Once the information is obtained, the cif needs to be deleted to stop the unnecessary processing.
    It would be nice if there was an option to Disable Custom Inventory Fields to stop the unnecessary processing when it is is not needed, but easily reactivated when needed.

  12. Render attachments in reports

    Asset Type created to track furniture. Record includes attachment field in which we upload jpg pictures. Report only lists the attachment name. Would like to be able to publish a report of available items with picture in a report.

  13. Create a report wizard for patching

    A simple report wizard that allows you to point to a patching label and outputs Machine name, number patches needed by that machines, # successes, # errors and %. Maybe the ability to specify severity level...

    Example output: Test-machine1 20 19 1 95%

    Seems like every org would need this without having someone with SQL scripting and SMA knowledge to have to create it.

  14. Add the option to use Report Wizard AFTER a report was created

    Need an option to use the Report Wizard (or SQL) after a report is created. We have reports that were created using the Wizard but that option is no longer available to edit/adjust the report.

  15. Allow reports to copy data over when changing the topic

    Currently when I want to make a copy of a report from another queue, it resets the report and doesn't retain any of the data that I wanted to reuse in the first place. It's essentially creating a report from scratch. What exactly is the point of copying a report if you can't copy over any of the fields?
