basic health check option for appliance prior to upgrading
A health check scan option next to the upgrade appliance that can be ran to do a quick scan on the appliance to make sure there are plenty of resources available to do an upgrade (for the next available version). If scan fails, a list of resources taxing the appliance will show so a customer would know what they need to free up or suspend prior to performing an upgrade.

Virtualisation Tools
It'll be great to have virtualisation's tools (like VMware Tools et Windows Integration Services).
It'ss help administration for stopping/starting the SDA and SMA appliance controled by the hypervisor when maintenance are only a standalone hypervisor.1 vote -

Support for 2 NICs, each on separate networks
I need to place my KACE on a DMZ, with 1 NIC on a "private" network and 1 NIC on a "public" network. I do not have the ability to do port forwarding or NAT. I need to have it support local assets and remote.

Exceptions List for MIA
The ability to create a label or other list of exceptions for MIA computers would allow us to account for machines that are off-site more often than not, but still have them appear in our Computer Inventory. We have loaner laptops that are primarily used for client presentations / events and as such, are often off the grid for longer than 30 or 60 days.

import labels
Allow labels to be imported from csv. This would make arbitrary (non-smart) labelling much easier.

A warning if a discontinued version is used
If you login as administrative user you should get the info that the version you are using is discontinued.
Currently you get a message that a new version is avaiable if it is enabled in the DW.
But there is no info for all appliances out there.
So there are many really old appliances out there.6 votes -
advanced Apache settings
It would be really helpful if there can be setting controls for advanced Apache features. Specifically, the ability to set HTTP 302 redirects. Our need is based on our KBox currently has an internal URL. We are implementing SSL with a wildcard certificate on the box so it can be accessible to more users. We want to force SSL only traffic. While we can make the DNS change so both addresses are valid, users who visit https://kbox will get a browser certificate warning. If KBox enabled Apache 302 redirect, the browser would automatically go to https://kbox.domain.com and the browser would…

Improve File System layout
Currently there are 2 main partitions, \kbox and \kbackup.
When patches, software or other items fill the disk the system stops working correctly. The OS and downloadable content should be on separate partitions to prevent this from happening.
You can even assign a specific size for each area. I.E.
\Kbox - basic OS
\kbakcup - backups
\Software - 100 GB for Software installations
\Patches - 100 GB for PatchesThus when we fill up patches, everything else will still work. Then we can work on freeing space for patches.
This would also help in the request for more feedback on…

On certain networks KBOX may be subjected to security scans and requirements. Quicker responses to updates for the underlying KBOX systems
On certain networks KBOX may be subjected to security scans and requirements. Quicker responses to updates for the underlying KBOX systems are necessary. This puts the system at risk for being forced offline.

Delete from MIA only if license count is reached
We currently have MIA Inventory set to delete if the device hasn't checked in in over 50 days. We do this to stay under our license count. I think it would be really beneficial to have an extra option that only deletes MIA computers if we have reached or are near the license count.
