Option to disable Metering
Our environment does not utilize Metering and when the agent does a Metering communication, it's fairly taxing on the devices. I would love for a checkbox to be able to simply disable Metering in the Communication and Agent Settings of the system UI.

Deploy Kace agent via SSH public/private key authentication
It would be great if we could deploy Kace clients to machines that use public/private key authentication. Basically, upload the key plus enter the user ID and deploy agents.

Smart label creation without needing inventory
when creating a smart label for devices we can test for how the query will work. if there is already an existing inventory for the devices in the database there should not exist the need to wait for an inventory to occur. the agent inventory should only cause the device to be re-evaluated and apply membership.

I ask for the possibility of customizing the message of blocked software, there is a translation error, where the word used is not adequate. the translation uses terms that offend a group.

Add more Variables to Device Actions for VNC
I have set up the newest version of UltraVNC with MSLogon for better security. But our techs rely on the Device Actions to connect. The previous deployment had a static password.
I need 2 additional useable variables, like KACEUSERNAME and KACEPASSWORD or KBOXUSER and KBOXPASSWORD to pass the tech's LDAP authentication to the Client.

Allow KACE agent to capture "logged in user" if a person is accessing a workstation exclusively via SSH.
If a person only ever accesses their Ubuntu machine by SSH'ing into it, can KACE capture the logged in user of that session?

KONEA Certificate with server hostname
I would link to have on SMA the Agent with KONEA Certificate with server hostname or domain references on SNI of Certificate SSL/TLS, like ***
konea.yourserver.yourdomain*** . To be able to route to backend sma server from my “farm”. Specially when you dont have valid IP address enough or you what balance ou route to other link path. I solve this need by myself workround, but if a native solution its better.

Improvement of "Agent task" status information needed!
It would be quite helpful if not only the type of tasks in the "Agent Tasks" in connection with the device name would be displayed .
We would like to know which patch oder managed install or driver update is running at the moment on each device"kpatch-ORG1-9" / "catalog mi" / "software mi" are a bit too cryptic to be connected to a specific task.
Can you please update the agent tasks page to make it more useful to identify what is running at each client.

Agent that supports Fedora Linux for Workstations
Currently, in the machine park I have, we have some workstations with Fedora, and Kace does not report them, and I was informed that the Distribution is not approved.

Enable detection and removal of Google Extensions
Allow for detection and removal of Google Extensions. Syspanda ("Finding & Removing Malicious Google Chrome Extensions Via KACE K1000") describes a method for creating a Custom Software Detection, however it only seems to be applicable for a single user. This is not useful in a multi-user environment, such as classrooms or labs. Support suggested I post this suggestion, in addition to continuing to test/develop the script myself to compensate for multiple users, or to contact Professional Services.

upload file from agent
Ability to upload a file to the device inventory from the command line using the agent on the client computer. I have a batch job that runs nightly that creates logs. I have to create an additional script to upload the log files. It would be nice if I could perform that step in the batch file itself, than have to coordinate 2 separate tasks, i.e. kinventory.exe -upload <filename>

Alerts to Users instead of Devices
Ability to send messages to users instead of devices. We have users that use multiple shared devices. It would be nice to send an alert to an LDAP user or LDAP group so the alert goes to the most recent machine they were logged into.

OS version from Linux machines is not shown anymore with latest agent in
The OS information is incomplete now. It only shows the "PRETTYNAME" value from /etc/os-release and is not showing the OS version anymore. Please append the "VERSIONID" from /etc/os-release as it was in previous versions of the agent. This affected our reports and inventory.

Differnt speedsetting for differnt subnet.
It would be useful if it were possible to set the bandwidth of the Kace Agent differently for different IP ranges (e.g. LAN and VPN). At the moment it is only possible to generally limit the bandwidth, which makes sense for VPN connections, but in the LAN, where the computers are connected with gigabit, not really because there is enough bandwidth.

It would be nice to have the ability to archive/start the archive process from a client uninstall. IE a command line option to archive
When processing a batch of computers out of system it would be nice to have an archive option from the client uninstall. IE a switch that triggers an archive in the DB when the client is uninstalled with that switch.

Non-persistent VDI agent
Please incorporate agent support for VDI environments with workstations and servers that auto-scale / provision and collapse on demand. Other apps utilize VDI agent flags that are installed on the cloned workstation(s) that enables those systems to detect and classify cloned workstations as being VDI stations. When the agents become unresponsive or are no longer detected, they're automatically removed from the inventory / licensing.
While we could choose to ignore installing agents on VDI devices, it's still important to be able to assist users in a evolving VDI landscape, and using KACE as our primary control pane gives us our…
