How can we improve the SMA?

  1. LogMeIn Integration

    I would like to see some integration with LogMeIn, similar to Bomgar and UVNC. It would sure help to be able to start a remote session with LogMeIn from the Kace system like you can with other applications.

  2. DRAC Integration

    We manage a high number of physical servers. It would be quite valuable to have either direct access to the DRAC connections on the servers, or an area where they can be listed/accessed.

  3. Machine action short ID bind for UVNC proxy support

    Would be nice to have a short ID available as a bind variable in machine actions. That way, UltraVNC proxy v2 could be implemented and we would less be limited by remote NATs. Even better would be that such proxy be integrated in the K1000

  4. Remote Control for Client Machines

    Our Kbox is great. We maintain a SCCM Instance for Remote Control/Assist and something like this should be integrated into the KBOX making it a one stop shop for almost everything IT related. There is already an agent on everything we use, why not have some remote support integrated.

  5. Remote button in USERUI based on Role.

    Base your admin role button should be preset in USERUI side for remote control.

    If you are not in that role then you do have see the button.

  7. Bomgar Intergration

    Bring back the Bomgar Integration. We bought Bomgar after finding it at a KACE User Kon and we still use and love it.

  8. Add Remote Desktop connection in device detail (not just bomgar)

    Right now in the device detail for our computers there's a link next to the IP of each device to connect to bomgar, however I would say it's more common for companies/businesses to use Microsoft Remote Desktop (we do). With Covid-19 disallowing universities to go back to campus, I think it'd be helpful if the SMA had an RDP link as an action item in that same location.
