Drill Down Based On Labels
It would be nice if you could choose an option that instead of using the labels to be completely inclusive you can use the labels to be more exclusive. For instance, you could use a label for Windows XP machines and then another label for machines that have Firefox 3.x installed. Instead of having to make a brand new label for windows xp machines with firefox installed you could use both in conjunction to drill down to what you're looking for. This would allow you to create more broad labels that could be used over and over again.

Granular access control in regards to which scripts can be run and how
I would love to give my help desk direct access to our kbox in a limited fashion. I would need to limit the specific scripts that they can run, and possibly the number of machines they can run the script on at once.
It would be absolutely horrible if someone were to reboot all 14,000+ agents we have at the same time.15 votes -
Set Default Priority per Category
Current Priority settings are based on the feelings and opinions of the person submitting/owning the ticket. The ability to set a Default Priority per Category (similar to the Default Ticket Owner) in the Customize Fields and Layouts page would be very beneficial to appropriately managing workloads.

Either eliminate the Local Sign In Link or scope it to a group of users (not all K1000 users) when SSO is enabled
When SSO is enabled a local sign in link is displayed which allows local K1000 users to authenticate which nullifies using a SAS SSO manager because all they have to do is use the local sign in link.
If it was scoped to a group of users I could only include the "fall back" users I wanted in there if SSO was ever not working

Add Custom Pre-Install and Post-Install Message options for Software Library Installs. This is present for Managed installs. Why not in the Software Library?

Create Smart label from Inventory
The option to create a smart label from any process, software, or service. Say i drill down to the process iexplore.exe. It would be nice if there was button/link that would automatically create a smart label based on the process, service, or software you had pulled up

Machine action short ID bind for UVNC proxy support
Would be nice to have a short ID available as a bind variable in machine actions. That way, UltraVNC proxy v2 could be implemented and we would less be limited by remote NATs. Even better would be that such proxy be integrated in the K1000

Service desk ticket number info in Antivirus Quarantine page, clamav
Service desk attachments are scanned by antivirus since v13, however the antivirus quarantine page does not show many details. Destination column shows Service Desk only, would be helpful if there will be a column with Service Desk Ticket number to which the email is related from where the attachment is scanned and virus found.

Part of the story we need to consider is that an attachment can be linked to many tickets, so imagine a compromised graphic file [logo] in every email signature that's opening tickets.
We're thinking through it too, but please let us know in the comments what you'd like!

Roles: Attach labels
It would be handy to attach certain labels to roles so any members/users of certain roles will automatically have specific labels associated to them.

Page names on Tabs
When you open up different pages in several tabs, it's hard to know at a glance which page is open in what tab, so you end up having to go through every tab. It would be great if instead of 'KACE Systems Management Appliance' showing up on each tab, it would instead have the name of the page you're in or at least the Module.

Hide "Also show child history" from parent ticket
I would like to be able to hide the option "Also show child history" from a parent ticket? Currently if you create a child ticket, the submitter of the parent ticket can see all of the comments of the child ticket by clicking on "Also show child history" in the parent ticket. Sometimes I do not want the submitter of the parent ticket to see the child tickets comments as it may contain information they do not need to see based on a fix or other comments from the support team. Ideally, what would happen is a user would submit…

Inventory Browser Plug-Ins on Mac Computers
Please add to the inventory of software for Mac computers the folder /Library/Internet Plug-Ins. Currently on Windows machines I can see in inventory what version of the Flash player plug-in is installed, but I cannot do this for Macs.

Fix inequality symbols and statements for software version numbers with periods.
I would like inequality symbols and statements to work correctly and consistently for numbers with periods, such as "10.1.102.64" in Smart Labels, Advanced Search and in Scripts for plist number comparisons & registry value comparisons.

Integrated Community Resource Sharing
An integrated means of browsing community reports, scripts and managed installation resources from within the K1000 admin console. It should also be very easy to share such resources from within the same areas of the admin console.

Use K1000 agent as gateway/proxy for network scans
I like the idea of using the K1000 agent as a gateway/proxy for WoL-actions like requested in https://kace.uservoice.com/forums/82699-k1000/suggestions/1304257-better-wake-on-lan-implementation
It would be great if you could use a K1000 agent like that for network scans so the agent does the scanning in the remote network and uploads the results after completion.
That would:
- save a lot of bandwith

Allow admins to change the width of the label in a support ticket, not just the fields.
You can change the width of the fields that the user fills out, but the labels are held to a certain width which forces some labels to show up on two lines appearing very crowded and unprofessional.

more custom data fields in user import
We have custom reporting from the kbox database and would like more fields to be able to be imported than the stock 16. These should be listed as more custom fields.
