Better configurability over Bandwidth Throttling
The K1000 lacks the ability to throttle bandwidth (other than within Replication Shares.) The bandwidth throttling from within Replication Shares is good, but that is the ONLY place that it can be configured. Having the ability to configure this for the whole KBOX would be a great feature. Things like maximum bandwidth utilization, maximum data transferred, etc.

Yes we are having issues with the K1000 slowing down the network and we are using a 300MBps pipe. We have 3 campuses and it is chewing up all the bandwidth - need the ability to throttle the bandwidth to fir our needs.

Can I also suggest agent throttling per location. We have multiple remote sites that requires different levels of speed control.

Good idea, Kace can we have an update if this is on a roadmap?

no more update for long time
not focus for this issue and large scale -

agree too , Bandwidth throttling is need for us. It can get more success rate of deployments (patch or software)

Bandwidth throttling the client is a must for Kace. Please include the ability to limit the amount by time and day of the week as well as function(MI, Patching, etc). We have 3500 PC in over 200 locations. Some of these locations have slow connection speeds so the only solution currently available to us is deploy local Kace replication servers.

I agree too! With about 200 clients our 10MBit/s connection is full of load

I also agree with this. We just had our network come to a grinding halt due to a large amount of data being pushed out for patches....

I agree, we have found even with 200 workstations (not all of which are ever online at one time) it really bogs down our internet bandwidth when tasks commence. Even detecting patches really eats up the upstream bandwidth on our lines until the task is complete. There needs to be a way to control Kace!
