Decouple agent requirement from replication setup
Right now in order to setup a replication share there needs to be a computer with an agent installed on it and that computer must remain on. It would be nice to replicate to an inexpensive NAS device that could be placed at remote facilities.

I like this idea. What I have been using is old desktop that we have replaced and installed Ubuntu server on them. I lock them down and let them sit. No GUI so no need for a mouse and keyboard. I SSH into them if I need to check on them.

I want to use a NAS at a remote site but have to have a machine with an agent on it to be able to patch through KACE remotely. That is unfortunate.

Replication share host files to offload work from the Kace server, I'm at a loss to why an agent would be needed? I would think hosting files on a NAS or SAN solution would be ideal.
