Snapshot a Hyper-V Machine before Patching
Before Patching a Hyper-V Machine wouldn't it be awesome if the K1000 could have the perform a snapshot first, so if it fails you could just revert in a matter of a few minutes.

Although this does sound like a cool idea for virtualized systems.
I will offer this.
Windows Clients does take a System Restore point before patching.
This can be found under System Properties > System Protection.
Not sure about servers at the moment. -

Same should be true for VMWare and Citrix!

Along these same lines, Add the ability to run a script before or after a patch cycle... Therefore if you wanted to snap a Hyper V server first you just send the Powershell commands to do so, the same for failing over a clustered resource etc, or really anything. This could address a number of issues raised in these posts.
