K1000 should support VirtIO drivers
With the growing popularity of virtualization hypervisors that require VirtIO drives, Quest should start supporting that. Nutanix is another example of an environment where VirtIO drivers are required. Everything else we have can handle it, K1000 is the only outlier.

We are excited to announce that version 12.0 of the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) is almost ready for the Beta/Release Candidate program. This release will contain initial Nutanix support for the SMA. Although this is not the specific UserVoice feature you requested, you have made a request related to Nutanix in the past; so we want to invite you to check it out. If you are interested in participating in the Beta/Release Candidate program, simply send an email with “Nutanix Beta” in the subject header to: kace_beta@quest.com and you will be contacted shortly with details. Thank you in advance for your kind consideration!

Hoping Quest has AHV support on their roadmap. It is very inconvenient to maintain a separate VMware server just for our K1000.

Can anyone help me understand what needs to be done to get the K1000 working on Nutanix AHV, I downloaded and spun up V10.0.290 but networking doesn't seem to work.
*** Edit - I just downloaded and spun up V9.1.318 without issue then upgraded it to V10.0.290 using the kbin file.

I agree, we are in the process of migrating our core VM infrastructure from Hyper-V to Nutanix AHV. Since the K1000 is not officially supported on AHV, we have to migrate it to a stand alone VMware server instead of having it highly available on our AHV cluster. We are very much looking forward to having an AHV version of the K1000.

We have Nutanix with AHV and the K1000 is working fine since 6 month, only for the K2000 we had to wait for the new version 6.0.425. Now with the help from the Quest support also the K2000 is running fine within the AHV Nutanix environment. It was also just a little adjustment in the scripts so not even driver related. From my point of view it would be easy for Quest to at least grant a limited support for both K1000 and K2000 within AHV.

K2000 is not working at all on Nutanix AHV
K1000, even if not officially supported, at least seems working fine -
