Category Field in the Contract Asset Type K1000
In Asset Management one of the types is "Contracts" the default contract categories are Contract-Software, COntract-Other, and Contract Hardware. I want to add another category of contracts and when I duplicated the Contract Software I found that I could not change the Category field. And the duplicated Contract was not part of the Contract Category. I would find it very useful to be able to change that category for that asset type.

That´s right. Even more the "default" contract type fields are not editable. Names cannot be renamed. Furthermore the translation in "Contract-Hardware" for Publisher and Vendor (and other fields) is wrong.
Hiding default fields would also be very useful -

In my case I wanted to create a Contract-CloudService. There are many many cloud services that aren't quite software. I also like the idea of grouping all Cloud subscription together but not as a subtype of software.
I suppose a more general Contract-Services could fit my need as well.
