I just had an issue where I wanted to check for updates, not install however I clicked "Check for Update" and the system went into update mode. That button is very misleading... If it knows there is no new update the button should be seen as "Update Unavailable" and greyed out, or if one is available then "Install Update" and clickable. Or another option would be to have an "Install Update" button next to "Check for Update" that is either greyed out when none seen, or clickable when an update is available.
