An easy method to use KACE to notify end users (pop-up) depending on the running processes/services on a device.
I.e. Send targeted outage notification for application (app.exe), KACE inventories and only targets these endpoints that are currently running app.exe.
Previous company I worked at had written an in-house app that looked at running processes (or any other identifier, services etc) and produced a pop-up notification that end users had to acknowledge (took focus) before continuing to work.
It could be used for general comms, change notice reminders, security event notification etc. Would be ideal if it could utilise smart labels also.
