Currently if you open an existing asset it gives you the option to "Duplicate" which will open a new asset window with all info copied to it from the previous asset. It would be nice to do this when you are creating a new asset from scratch. Currently, there is a "Save and New" button in there, but that only takes you to build the same type of asset without copying information over. Something like "Save and Duplicate" would be great so all you would need to do is change one or 2 fields (like assigned user and name for example) and the rest would already be filled in. I had to add 28 new monitors and this would have saved me a ton of time because they were all the same model, brand, status, assigned user, and location. All I needed to do was change the name.
