In Kace SMA version 11.1 there is a hard limit of devices that are allowed to be inventoried based on the number of records in the inventory table (machine). The cut off is based on the number of licenses or a hard limit 65 K devices. I understand the 65K limit is based on the maximum capacity the tool can handle for the number of agent connections at any given time.

We are a large organization and exceed 65 K records in our database inventory table but we never exceed 65K agent connections at any given time. I was wondering if the limit to allow for devices checking in if it can be based on agent connections and not the number of entries in the machine table.

To summarize keep the licenses allowed based on the number of records in the machine table but don't prevent additional devices from checking in unless you reach a threshold on agent connections as opposed to the count of records in the machine table.
