The flat-look UI in 8.1 is a disaster. Who on earth thought it was a good idea to emulate Win10? The stark white with light grey is very hard on the eyes. Give the Admin the ability to revery to a proper colour scheme or even better the UI from 7.x.

Would like to see the survey emails contain the 1-5 star rating as a hyperlink, so that the user can just click on a rating and have the survey result logged with a single click. Then the user can be directed to the website so they can add comments as well if they so chose.

My company is looking to drive survey engagement and we think that streamlining the feedback process could increase the number of responses we are seeing.

It is annoying to close that pop-up every time when a user logs into the admin site. If SM K1000 wants to become enterprise software, Quest should consider every UX detail.

Version 7.2 appears to have removed the ISO 8601 date format of yyyy-mm-dd, as all of the English localisation options are only mm/dd/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy. Please return the ISO date format as an option.

Part of the problem is that Canada uses all three date formats, even in different federal government departments, even though we adopted ISO 8601 in 1989, but the Canadian localization for dd/mm/yyyy isn't helpful.

The static frame at the top of the web UI wastes a lot of space. Please make it much smaller.

I realize this is working as designed according to the KB article above, but this is bad design. Logo Override needs to be allowed to occur even before the user first logs on.

The current portal for users has a very dated feel to it. It reminds me of old VB script default layouts.

Everything is small, and arranged on the page in a very "dump it all in there" manner. Look to products like zendesk for an updated, user friendly design.

Really the whole product needs this treatment, but at the very least the user portal should be updated as it encourages users to actually use the portal.

For the Devices list Custom Visibility options, please either give an additional option for IP only or separate the Machine Action from IP as the Machine Action dropdown's are slow to render and I don't use them (because of activex) but I still want to see IPs.

I would love to use the hide Nav Menu feature, it would improve crucial horizontal screen real estate, but I never do because every time I click on something in the menu it just un-hides it.

It would be markedly better if when toggled hidden the menu just stayed hidden and becomes a pop-out instead. This functionality isn't new, may sites do this. KACE's "View by:" also does something similar though has overlapping issues.

For the admin Console it would be nice to be able to create custom shortcuts to have a faster way to access points of interest in the console, such as Setting - Users or even Assets - view by BlahBlah

this would be nice addition to minimize time shifting through the various tabs of the interface.

Since you probably can't change the replication share bandwidth settings to be in bits per second without breaking something, could we at least get a graphic of the calculation from bytes per second to bits per second (or even to the closest whole number Kbps/Mbps/Gbps) just below the bytes per second setting. As bandwidth is measured bits and not bytes.

Add more variables to the Device Actions menu. I would like to have a variable for the MAC address. That way I can add a WOL device action.
