  1. Support Windows 10 Feature Update installations via KACE patching.

    With the new model of Windows updates, we need to be able to easily push these feature updates such as Anniversary Edition via the KACE in order for it to fully replace the current functionality of a WSUS server.

  2. Allow Parent tickets to pass fields to child tickets

    Allow Parent tickets to pass information to child ticktes in a process (workflow). eg, if creating a new user you would want to pass the user name, dept, phone etc from the partent ticket to other departments involved in the new user creation. Currently these have to be re-typed in each child ticket.

  3. Native Powershell Integration

    The ability to use Powershell more natively within the KBOX appliance.

    A quick example: I would like to push out three installs before the desktop loads but would like to use Powershell to do it since it has more power and flexibility than a batch script. Although I can run the Powershell script it calls it first as if from a command line which then makes the KBOX client think the install is done so it then continues to the desktop, which I would not like it to do.

    It would be nice to be able to specify the Powershell…

  4. Kagent: Show icon on client machine (with info)

    It would be great to have an option to show the kagent icon on the system tray on client machines (with an indicator show connected/disconnected).

    If the user double clicks on it, it should show information about what managed job is scheduled and for when and what jobs were sent to it (mini history).

    This would help local techs to provide better end user management/troubleshooting.

    It wouldn't hurt to also provide (when double clicked on the icon) a window that shows a list of authorized apps (software library) that can be installed by the end user.

  5. multiple backup location (transfer of backup files built-in)

    Option built into backup to copy backup to another location.
    Currently you can do this using a 3rd party method but as this is an enterprise appliance the file transfer option should be included. This should also be secure (encrypted)

  6. Make screenshots and attachments to ticket available in notification email

    Our technicians (who are usually working remotely with no access to the helpdesk) receive an email when a new ticket comes in, however the screenshot that is usually included with the ticket is not attached to the email. We want Kbox to attach the screenshot to the ticket update email so our technicians can see what the problem is without logging into the Kbox.

  7. Inventory - collect all IPs bound to a network interface

    In the Inventory, the network interfaces for a Windows machine only lists the "primary" IP address. This is confusing because inventory run on Linux machines list every IP address bound to each interface. The inventory should be configured to list all IP addresses bound to the network interface on Windows; not just the primary IP address.

  8. Remove space in French version of ticket number [TICKET :0000]

    In the French version (9.0.270): there is a space in ticket number (which is unexpected for a id.
    [TICKET:0000] would be far more logical than [TICKET :0000].

    (incidentally, in a sentence, French would put a space before and after the colon

    This is a bug and has been reported to the appropriate team for a fix in the next appropriate localization/translation drop. Thank you for point this out and our apologies for the inconvenience.

  9. Add more fields to "Create Smart Label"

    Currently, you can only define 4 criteria for either Patch Listing "Create Smart Label" or looking under Inventory "Create Smart Label".

    I would like the ability to have available or to click to add additional criteria fields. This ability is CRITICAL in being able to properly define patches.

    In 5.5, we have implemented new smart label capabilities in many screens. Smart Label improvements in Patching and Service desk will be targeted in 6.0
