Remote wipe functionality for lost or stolen machines.
If a machine is reported lost or stolen, KBox should be able to implement a secure wipe function.
Co-management is now avaiable for both Mac and Windows. Note that both the KACE SMA and KACE MDM product components are necessary to use both Modern and Traditional endpoint management. Call your sales person for details on how you can co-manage your endpoints.

Wow an 8 Review process. Long time.

I would also want it to be DoD compliant.
This would be cool, but wouldn't the device still have to be checking in with SMA? Like on-site or have VPN enabled?
Guess a virtual K1000 could be in AWS or something.
I think a better solution would be to encrypt the drive. Dell's DDPE solution would be best to handle this, and the K1 integrates with it and can now (in version 6.4) report back automatically what your encryption status currently is.

This feature would be great considering most mobile management appliances work with laptops and not just tablets/smartphones and already provide these features.
Any updates on this feature?

Or just to perform a system wipe for the disposal of computers at end of life...
It would be cool if it did like a computrace (lojack) feature. You can track the computers, remotely wipe them, and even lock the computer from being used until they call in.

This is a feature available in LanDesk and it would be great if KACE had it as well. We have used it a couple times through LanDesk when machines have been lost or stolen.
