Scripting in KBOX
Would like to be able to create a group for scripts. Currently have 200 scripts in KBOX and growing daily. For example i would like to be able to create a Group called printers and have all my printer scripts in that group. This way i am not scrolling through 200+ scripts to find what i need.
Planned for a 2020 release

I agree that we should be able to categorize/group/label scripts. Adding labels to scripts could possibly allow us to run a group of script on a group of machines; oh the possibilities!
I would also like to see that the STATUS field is a select-able column under column visibility. This would actually make the status field useful (Production, Draft, Template, Example).

I think that the type or labels would be a good start. It would be very helpful for scripts that are under development not be shown to accounts that don't have rights to that type

The K1000 has a "Category" and "Version" column (may have been added in a later release seeing as this idea is 6 years old yesterday). In the GUI editor/Script Detail page, there is no way to update these fields.
A work around, if you want to change them, is to choose "Edit XML" just below the "Schedule" in the GUI. You will find the fields in the config on line 4 (WARNING: Just in case you do try, this seems to remove all uploaded items in "Dependencies" for the script. Update the XML PRIOR to adding files or you will have to upload them again.):
- "type" is the Category (defaults to policy when creating script)
- "version" is, well, the version
Changing these fields doesn't seem to break anything and will give you the ability to categorize the script. Unfortunately, there is no way to filter by Category or even search them on the "Script" page.
Please add the ability to:
- Change/Update these fields using the GUI/Script Detail
- Filter by category on the Scripts main page using the "View By:" drop menu

Couldn't it be similar to the Reports module where you can create your own groups?
Would be nice to deploy a selection of scripts to only one machine(s) similar to 'run now' only be able to select more than one script to a machine(s).

I agree! For software distributions as well. We have 30 remote locations, the product I am moving from lets us setup a folder for each site then put the appropriate software or scripts within that folder...
how long are these under review.

AGREED!!!!!!!!!!! I have pages of scripts (mostly for Windows) and the only way to filter is by OS!! We should be able to add a category to group scripts the same way it works for Reports.
