There needs to be Kace "Certification" available personnell for personnel operating Kace Solutions. A Kace Certified Administrator (KCA)
Employers like certifications. When you are looking to hire a new employee or when you are evaluating the work of a current employee, their industry certifications are a major factor. Training (like at the Kace Konference) could be the basis for these certifications, with testing at course end to verifiy learning. Employers and Employees would both benefit, as well as would Kace, as certified personnell are some of the best testimonials/advertisements for products and solutions.
As much as I absolutely hate certifications, I agree there needs to be one for KACE products. I manage the KACE SMA in our company and I have learned more about KACE SMA than the Cisco or Windows Server certs they want me going for. If Quest released a tri-annual certification program I would take it in a heartbeat. The Quest training programs are great, but an official certification would look great on file and would increase an employees' value.
Been doing lots of training for our new SMA. Here there is an annual certification or certificate requirement. It would be great if I could apply some of my Kace training to that by having an official certificate or full blown certification from Quest.
-The implementation level certification courses are available to customers, partners, and employees.
-Currently, the implementation level certification tests are available to partners and employees and not customers.

We will leave this request open for future consideration.

I have started to require our technicians to become dell certified annually through the Dell TechDirect website. I would love to see KACE certifications added to this website.
I don't think Dell has any desire to pursue this. Why? I have no idea. It would be smart on their part and also lead to increased revenue.
I guess Michael Dell doesn't need the extra money.
Add to the fact that Dell Kace is a hodge podge of just "figure out" what it takes to do whatever.
Instead of a centralized infomation and books to order to walk you through, they give you tube info, IT Ninja, and some manuals, but none of these helps a new person get started.
it is irratating.

I agree, my employer would like us to get more certifications and they also see a certification as a testimonial or justification for the training itself as there is a tangible end result. I would like to see some opportunities for online certifications at the very least within KACE. Thanks
