Include Dell Updates in Task Chains
Add the ability to chain the Dell Updates in a task chain. Very useful when updating Windows 10 builds which can fail if certain drivers are not up to date.
We are excited to announce that version 11.1 of the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) is almost ready for the Beta/Release Candidate program. This release will contain improvements to Dell Updates. Although this is not the specific UserVoice feature you requested, you have made a request related to Dell Updates in the past; so we want to invite you to check it out. If you are interested in participating in the Beta/Release Candidate program, simply send an email with “Dell Updates Beta” in the subject header to: firstname.lastname@example.org and you will be contacted towards the end of April with details. Thank you in advance for your kind consideration!

Upvoted I just worked with a Kace consultant to try and find a way around the same examples everyone else has posted. BIOS updates with Bitlocker is the main concern and being able to chain tasks so that Bitlocker can be suspended first is a critical need.

This would be of particular value especially in the event of Dell BIOS updates - a machine can be scripted to disable bitlocker. the fact that this isn't something already handled is a tad silly, and it adds a lot of work for IT Staff

I'm surprised this isn't included in Task Chains already, like Khaled mention I wanted to be able to suspend BitLocker before running Task Chains.

Agreed Dalton, this would be a useful feature. I would use it in a task chain that suspends bitlocker before deploying BIOS updates.
