Exclude a machine from getting a Managed Install
I would like the ability to prevent a machine from getting a MI, without creating a new label.
Example: I have our whole library in a group. All machines in the library need Software X. However, Software X conflicts with Software Y that is on our main circulation desk machine. This means I need a whole separate label that excludes that one machine. I would like to just say, within the MI, "Apply to this label, EXCEPT Machine Z".
I hope this makes sense what I'm asking. Thanks.

What a great feature to add in. To exclude ad hoc devices from an install would certainly help. By not creating another label in that ever growing list... it gets mind boggling how many labels there are and ensuring one doesn't conflict with another. This exclude from would make this easier.

We've only been running KACE for about 6 months and we've already come up against this problem. We've populated a number of labels with the required PCs and regularly run updates against these labels, but we do find instances where we do need to exclude particular ones on an ad hoc basis. The ability to exclude a PC as and when needed, rather than editing the label each time would be very useful.

I'm all for this Idea, I just ran into a situation today where the ability to exclude a system from a managed install would have been come in very handy.

I think this is a great idea and very much needed. Another example is to exclude upper management from software pushes that are going out to a group they belong to but that we would want to touch personally.
