Increase time out on file synchronizations from 60 minutes to 240 minutes to allow transfer of large files on slow links.
Currently file sync stops after 60 minutes. Assumption is that transfer will complete within this time. But large files going to sites with limited bandwidth may take longer. For example a 100mb file on a 256k link will not complete within 60 minutes.
Our business has more than 250 sites with slow links, many in rural areas. There are typically 2-3 workstations per site so paying for more bandwidth is not justified. And this bandwidth would be adequate for the transfer of a 100mb file outside of office hours, but there is an artificial limitation imposed by the 60 minute timeout.
