  2. Change format of "Updated Patches Available" report to show content inline (HTML)

    Since the upgrade to 6.3 the "Updated Patches Available" report mails no longer list the patches inline. Instead, the email contains a zip file, and this is very annoying.

  3. Add charts to reporting.

    Need the ability to create reports that give a general overview of the results in the form of a few simple charts (bar, pie, ect). This would be well placed as an option for the only thing reported or as a header to the list of machines being reported on.

  4. Provide Database schema

    I would like to have a schema of the K1000 / K2000 databases to facilitate the creation of reports with external tools.

  5. Create are own widgets with log files

    Ability to import a logfile and filter it, so you can see if there are any error's on the dashboard.

  6. Add label names to the report wizard

    When creating reports, I frequently want to use labels to gather data about machines which only exist at a certain location(s) in our enterprise. Currently this is a huge pain, requiring manual SQL editing because there is no option to filter to machines which have a certain label otherwise.

  7. Develop a way to create and / or customize the widgets.

    K1000 Develop the system the ability to create and / or customize existing widgets in the system. Thus, the User can customize the home screen with the widgets you want with the best information and can even combine information from different widgets in one.

  8. Variable Field for Reports

    Allow it to be possible to have a report that is based on an end user's specific criteria so that the report doesn't have to be edited by KACE admin everytime an end user needs a report ran.

  9. Change the reporter email address

    Change the reporter eMail Address

    We want to have the possibility to change the sender address for the reports. We want to minimize unneeded email traffic (for example when somebody is on vacation there will be automatically generated an absence assistant message - and of course the email address isn't a valid one so the postmaster got's error messages)

  10. Metrics generation when you create a report

    Would like to see the matrices and graphs option associated with reports. The ability to see/generate supplemental bar graphs or pie charts when you generate reports.

  11. Driver Reporting

    Driver reporting on a system would be very useful. Being able to identify which drivers are loaded on a system, their versions, and which are actively in use vs. all drivers present on a system as a starting point would be greatly appreciated. If possible, I see this being added as a link within a Machine view in the K1000 under Inventory -> Computers, similar to Installed Programs, Discovered Software etc.

  12. Allow custom SQL notifications to display more (or less) than the 4 default columns

    When doing a custom SQL query in a notification, no matter what columns the query specifies, the K1000 only sends data for 4 columns:

    Computer Name, System Description, MAC Address, and IP Address

    Test with the query below:

    SELECT MACHINE.NAME AS SYSTEM_NAME, MACHINE.USER_FULLNAME as USER_NAME, LAST_SYNC as CHECKIN_TIME FROM MACHINE WHERE (((TIMESTAMP(LAST_SYNC) > NOW() OR TIMESTAMP(LAST_SYNC) <= DATE_SUB(NOW(),INTERVAL 18 DAY))))

  13. Allow Kace admin to schedule notifications for a specific time

    Within reporting I have a number of notifications that run daily or weekly. It appears that the "Next Run" time is based on when that notification is created. For example a notification is created to run daily at 3 PM, it will continue to run at 3 PM from then on. I would like to see a "time of day" setting for daily reports that allows the admin to say the notification runs daily at "x" time.

  14. Allow non-admin users run certain reports

    All of our assets are tied to users. It would be great if they could run a report to see what assets they have assigned to them. Also, they might want to see a brief summary of all their tickets, a list of all the installed programs on their computer, etc.

  15. Date sorting on reports

    Date fields such as "Operating System Info.Installed On" can't be sorted in reports as date-times. They are handled as strings instead. Would be useful if they can be sorted.

  16. Include Date Range Options While Running Reports

    We need to see the option to dynamically change the date range of a report while running it. Adding and/or updating the SQL every time is not a usable option.

  17. Better options for report scheduling

    There needs to be a way to have a broader way to schedule reports. We would like the ability to schedule reports based on the last Friday of the month or every quarter or ever 90 days. There is an option similar to that on the schedule section for patch management. Not sure why the scheduling isn't the same across the board.

  18. Change the 'keep alive' alert to not apply to machines that are off during the time of the alert run and the timeout period.

    I run an alert every Friday reminding users to log out of their computers at the end of business. When a computer is off during the time of the scheduled alert, the alert is displayed when the computer comes back on. This is fine, so long as the computer comes back on during the timeout period I allotted for the alert. This alert is useless if presented to the user outside of this time frame.

  19. Customize reports

    We would really like the ability to customize reports, mainly to change header size, fonts, and colors. I've looked all over and don't believe we can currently do this.

  20. Allow Reports to be Emailed in Formats other than .zip

    Sending reports in .zip format should be optional rather than mandatory. Would like to be able to email reports as html / csv / txt files as before in 5.3.
