  1. Add charts to reporting.

    Need the ability to create reports that give a general overview of the results in the form of a few simple charts (bar, pie, ect). This would be well placed as an option for the only thing reported or as a header to the list of machines being reported on.

  3. Create are own widgets with log files

    Ability to import a logfile and filter it, so you can see if there are any error's on the dashboard.

  4. Change the reporter email address

    Change the reporter eMail Address

    We want to have the possibility to change the sender address for the reports. We want to minimize unneeded email traffic (for example when somebody is on vacation there will be automatically generated an absence assistant message - and of course the email address isn't a valid one so the postmaster got's error messages)

  5. Allow non-admin users run certain reports

    All of our assets are tied to users. It would be great if they could run a report to see what assets they have assigned to them. Also, they might want to see a brief summary of all their tickets, a list of all the installed programs on their computer, etc.

  6. Develop a way to create and / or customize the widgets.

    K1000 Develop the system the ability to create and / or customize existing widgets in the system. Thus, the User can customize the home screen with the widgets you want with the best information and can even combine information from different widgets in one.

  7. Add label names to the report wizard

    When creating reports, I frequently want to use labels to gather data about machines which only exist at a certain location(s) in our enterprise. Currently this is a huge pain, requiring manual SQL editing because there is no option to filter to machines which have a certain label otherwise.

  8. Variable Field for Reports

    Allow it to be possible to have a report that is based on an end user's specific criteria so that the report doesn't have to be edited by KACE admin everytime an end user needs a report ran.

  9. Driver Reporting

    Driver reporting on a system would be very useful. Being able to identify which drivers are loaded on a system, their versions, and which are actively in use vs. all drivers present on a system as a starting point would be greatly appreciated. If possible, I see this being added as a link within a Machine view in the K1000 under Inventory -> Computers, similar to Installed Programs, Discovered Software etc.

  10. Software Version Reporting - Maintain a list of "Most Current Published Version" software titles

    Currently, maintaining software and patching on machines with software which automatically updates itself is rather difficult, because of the way KACE addresses software versions. I'm finding that if a software package undergoes a major build number change, and the new build number doesn't match a managed install, KACE will overwrite the automatically updated version of the software package with its older version.

    It would be absolutely lovely if KACE was able to maintain an ordered listing of the most current version of a given software title within its inventory the way it monitors patch versions etc, so we could label…

  11. Export option for the "Task Schedule"

    This would be a feature similar to the other export option buttons, where it would give you the option to export into an excel, pdf, or html document, and then the schedule would be able to be in a visual fashion and is much easier to keep track of patches going on when it is color coded right in front of your face.

  12. OAuth 2.0 for outbound emails from Reporting

    Looks like the only way to send reports is via the "Network Settings" section - which only uses SMTP Auth currently. If we could use OAuth 2.0 to send reports out it would be massively helpful :)

  13. Have HTML report ticket links open in the userui instead of the adminui

    Scheduled HTML service desk reports have links to the tickets. The links only open in adminui. This is an issue if the report is to non-admin staff as the link will fail to open. It would be beneficial to have the link open in the the userui where non-admin staff would normally manage their work/tickets. At a minimum have the option to configure userui or adminui for HTML reports.

  14. Edit Reports in SQL and Design View

    After creating Reports, people will sometimes like to edit them. Customers should be allowed to switch to SQL view to design/edit reports and then be allowed to switch back to Design view as we please.

  15. Allow write access to k1000 database

    As most people know you can access the k1000 database using a 3rd party reporting tool, but its only read only access.

    If the default user (R1), could be given write access or if another user could be created with write permissions to the database that would be very helpful.

    Example: Make a report showing number of created tickets per day by category, then create a view of that report to be referenced in a summary report

  17. Report in body of email instead of attachment

    In the Report Schedule Detail there should be an option to include the report in the body of the email as HTML or text instead of only as an attachment.

    Then users won't have to perform more work to see reports, especially simple reports that don't need PDF/CSV/Excel output.

  18. Better options for report scheduling

    There needs to be a way to have a broader way to schedule reports. We would like the ability to schedule reports based on the last Friday of the month or every quarter or ever 90 days. There is an option similar to that on the schedule section for patch management. Not sure why the scheduling isn't the same across the board.

  20. changing report file types to new Office file types.

    change from XLS to XLSX with Office moving to newer versions. It is becoming more common to have internal blocks on network sending of older file types, like the xls file type, for security reasons. We currently are working towards Office 365 and this is one piece of the project. We can get reports in other file versions but would prefer to have them in Excel as XLSX file type. These old file types are becoming more vulnerable to malware and virus infections.
