    Build some nice and easy SSO integration for Azure AD similar to salesforce. Would be very nice to be able to do this like you can with salesforce etc, I'm very surprised that in the re-design for SSO that it wasnt brought in.

  3. Include Dell Updates in Task Chains

    Add the ability to chain the Dell Updates in a task chain. Very useful when updating Windows 10 builds which can fail if certain drivers are not up to date.

  4. Branching Workflows in Service Desk

    Be able to create branching workflows based off of answers made in a work flow. Example new account request may have a question do we need to order a computer, if yes create these tickets, if not then create these other tickets.

  5. Include scripts, distributions, WOL, and patch schedules as machine action options

    This way we could easily and quickly run a script, deploy a software package, or initiate a patch schedule (for just that machine) right from the machine list or machine detail page. Would be extremely handy, browser-agnostic, and save a lot of time.

    For example, if you have the two free Bomgar licenses and chose the hosted option you could initiate a Bomgar session with one or two clicks from the machine page without sending an e-mail message. Or if you are working on getting your patches up-to-date you could focus on one machine and kick off a patch schedule…

  6. SLA Pausing

    Create a "timer" for SLAs, instead of just using dates, so that they can be paused when a ticket is put into a category like "Waiting on User" or "Waiting on Third Party". This way SLAs aren't breached when Techs are waiting on information from a user or third party. When placed back into an "Open" status, the SLA would pick up where it left off. So if the SLA has a 48 hour time for completion and a Tech puts it into "Waiting on Customer" with say 37 hours left. The timer would "freeze" there until the user responded…

  7. Retire Old Categories That No longer Apply

    We need a way to either hide or retire old categories that are no longer relevant. We cannot delete the old categories due to historical tickets/reporting. However, there are categories which are relevant to deprecated software, hardware and processes, that no longer should appear in the Category dropdown. We do not want users or Helpdesk technician selecting these categories for new tickets.

  8. Synchronize physical inventory from the barcode scanner with automatically discovered assets

    We have a handheld bar-code scanner that we use to inventory all of our physical devices. Before adopting the K1000 we were using Numara Track-it system to do the inventory. The great thing about Track-it was the fact that it synced up very nicely with the bardcode scanner and automatically updated the database over the network once the scanner had been placed in it's docking station. This ultimately eliminated the need to constantly import scanned inventory because there was constant synchronization between the handheld scanner and Numara Track-it System. It would be nice if Kace was able to automatically sync…

    Currently Kace patches Dell firmware. Surface Pro systems have several firmware updates in the windows updates.

    When can we get the Surface Pro (and others) to have firmware included in patching?

    This is under consideration but not planned for the next release, Please continue voting if you’d like to see this feature prioritized for a future release.

  11. K1000 should support VirtIO drivers

    With the growing popularity of virtualization hypervisors that require VirtIO drives, Quest should start supporting that. Nutanix is another example of an environment where VirtIO drivers are required. Everything else we have can handle it, K1000 is the only outlier.

This release will contain initial Nutanix support for the SMA. Although this is not the specific UserVoice feature you requested, you have made a request related to Nutanix in the past; so we want to invite you to check it out.   12. Nutanix AHV / KVM deployment support

    Please expand deployment support for new/modern enterprise ready hypervisors such as Nutanix AHV and KVM. KVM image would also be compatible with Proxmox.

  13. Allow access to agent share after SMB Signature Required is enabled in AD

    Once SMB Signature Required is enabled in Active Directory then the agent share is unable to be access. It would nice to be able to download the new agent without having to block smb signature and then have to enable smb signature again.

  14. Limit access to report categories and asset types by role or user label

    I would like to limit access to report categories and asset types by role or user label. For example, we have a vehicle maintenance queue. We have vehicles as assets and we have reports for those vehicles. My vehicle maintenance guy doesn't need be able to see and modify the IT assets or reports, he just needs to see and modify his vehicle assets. Also, he doesn't need to be able to see the IT reports, just reports for his vehicles.

  15. Change the reporter email address

    Change the reporter eMail Address

    We want to have the possibility to change the sender address for the reports. We want to minimize unneeded email traffic (for example when somebody is on vacation there will be automatically generated an absence assistant message - and of course the email address isn't a valid one so the postmaster got's error messages)

  16. Timezone on ticket same as local time not server time

    For companies that use Kace in offices in multiple timezones, having all tickets follow the server timezone is pretty irritating. It would be great if all tickets reflected the time zone of origin.

    Drive Encryption reports no data available on Ubuntu systems. Reporting needs to be added similar to how Kace reports BitLocker and/or FileVault.

  18. Improve the process of linking purchased software licenses to the Software Catalog

    Linking licenses to the software catalog in Kace is an excruciating process:
    1. The description from the vendor and the name in the software catalog are never the same
    2. The software catalog does not seem to provide the manufacturers part number
    3. You can only link licenses to the catalog if the software has been discovered (used in inventory). This forces you to monitor each license and its first use to make sure that you link it. Only this way can you ensure that your licensing picture is correct.
    4. You can only export the titles of the software…

  20. Allow non-admin users run certain reports

    All of our assets are tied to users. It would be great if they could run a report to see what assets they have assigned to them. Also, they might want to see a brief summary of all their tickets, a list of all the installed programs on their computer, etc.
