Restart services and kill processes
I would love it we could start, stop, restart, or kill processes and services directly from the appliance. The most common use I can see is to kill and restart a print spooler. The ability to remotely kill other "stuck" processes directly from the admin console would be really nice too!!

Support for 2 NICs, each on separate networks
I need to place my KACE on a DMZ, with 1 NIC on a "private" network and 1 NIC on a "public" network. I do not have the ability to do port forwarding or NAT. I need to have it support local assets and remote.

Display K1000 License Number
I was told by Dell Kace support that a new requirement is to provide the technician with the Dell Kace license number for support. He also told me that this cannot be retrieved from the device. In light of the high turnover rate of Administrator, this information should be viewable in the "About K1000" window with the serial number. It would save a lot of time and arguing with technical support.

Increase character limit for Initial Message in Scripting
It would be nice if we could get an increased character limit for the Initial Message window that's used to notify users before an Online Script is ran. It is currently much shorter than most message windows that can be created throughout the SMA.

Add option to disable task skipped task pop up
I opened a ticket and was told that the 11.1 update included an "enhancement" that added a skip task notification. If you're going to add a notification you need to an option to disable it too! My end users don't need to know if a task was skipped and all it did was cause more tickets to my helpdesk. Please add an option to disable this "enhancement". Thanks.

We have heard your voices and understand that for many, this message proved to be disruptive. As such, we disabled this notification in our 12.0 release and will look at adding it back as an optional setting as part of a future release.

I'd like to have a way to reset the failed status and/or attempt count for an individual computer's Managed Install.
I'd like to have a way to reset the failed status and/or attempt count for an individual computer's Managed Install. Re-saving the MI resets for all failed, but I'm looking for a way to reset the count and/or failed status for individual computers. I'd prefer to not have to allow sub-admins the permission to save/modify MIs.

Manual agent check in from client
I would love to be able to use a command switch to force a check-in from a client machine. Something like %INSTALLDIR%\AMPAgent.exe /checkin. This would be very handy for new machines trying to get updates and patches ASAP before being deployed to a new hire, for example.

More Customization for User Portal
I would like to see more customization options of the User portal, would be nice to be able to organize the software in groups or folders to clean the interface up better, it would also be nice to able to make install instructions a little more clear when wanting to install software like the ability to prevent the installation of software until they have gone over the requirements or pre-reqs.

Service Desk - Dynamic Fields
The ability to create dynamic fields to use in the service desk would greatly improve it's usefullness
ex: Field1 has a choice of Software or Hardware. Field2 populates its choices based on Field1. If you pick Hardware for Field1 you wouldnt have to wade through all the software problems in Field2, only related fields.
It would increase the time required to setup the service desk but, in the long run, i think it would decrease time required/increase accuracy to put in tickets

Run a script in run now status with the logged in person running the script to find out who does what.
today for check who executed a script we have to do this:
- Settings › History › Object History > view by : Script and check the execution time and compare it with the "run now" status in : Scripting › Run Now Status.then check who is the user who performed the task.
Would it be possible to have the user directly execute the script in the execution status of the script.

Managed Install Scheduling
I would love to see the ability to set a more specific deployment schedule for the managed installs. Make it like the patch deployment scheduling where you can pick certain day(s) of the week, specific time of day, specific date & time, etc. We have many machines that can only have software deployed to them at specific times and this would help automate that process.

Force replication to specific share regardless of schedule.
Add an option to force replication to the selected replication share(s) ignoring the schedule. This would be useful for dependencies of scripts that need to be run asap but are not replicated yet.

Email Users users directly from the ticket while appending the email as a comment
We all have users who ignore the notifications and are more responsive when they receive an email from an actual person.
Currently the user's email address is listed in ticket and clicking on it opens up you local mail client (Outlook and etc).
From there i can email the user as i typically would, but that email never makes it to the actual ticket and is never documented unless i manually copy/past it myself.
Having the ability to click on that user's email address and email window pop up that would allow me to send that user an email (as…

Allow WOL across subnets without relay or allow the relay agent to
The old method of WOL in 7.2 and below was able to send packets across subnets. The new relay agent method cannot. If all machines are powered off in a subnet, then it is not possible to wake up the machines at all starting in version 8.0. I have had to resort to using another product for WOL scheduling. This feature was a nice selling point. I'm pretty sure the other suggestion was to have the option to use a relay.. not be forced to.

Under scripting the crate desktop shortcut wizard should allow you to choose from a list of available icons to assign to the shortcut or to select your own custom shortcut icon.

Limit Deployment To Listed Machines Manual entry
The Limit deployment list should accept a list of IP’s or computer names separated by returns. When I copy a list from outside Kace or inside Kace I should be able to paste it in notepad or excel manipulate it as I want then paste it to the a manual entry filed that will populate the Limit Deployment To Listed Machines filed.
This will be one new multi-line textboxes that will accept inputs. The textbox will be called manual entry above the textbox two bullets one labeled “by IP” the other “by computer name”. When you paste data into this…

Add Auto Refresh to the Service Desk Dashboard
It would be nice to have the auto refresh feature on the dashboard so that a supervisor could setup his dashboard the way he wants it and not have to manually refresh it all the time. you could always have a nice overview of whats going on in the service desk without having to touch it.

Fix asset creation API bug (api/asset/assets)
Attempting to create an asset in 11.1.263 using api/asset/assets returns success but returns no IDs and does not create an asset. Server Error log shows: AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: [2021-11-04 08:24:08 -0700] PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /kbox/components/asset/api/src/API/Controllers/AssetController.php on line 446'
This was reported to support but they declined to look into it unless we hire them for consulting. API use is not supported for regular product use. It is only provided for use by consulting clients.
