Support for UEFI deployment and building of UEFI compatible KBE environments
All the new machines that we purchase are capable of UEFI booting. We would like to move over to this but unfortunately at the moment the K2000 doesn't support UEFI.
Implementation of this support would be great.

This request has been implemented in the SDA (K2) 4.0 release

Hi Corey, We have changed the option 67 to ipxe.efi server side. Still not able to boot from UEFI. IS it possible to make a UEFI Boot environment?

PXE UEFI was implemented in 4.0, Option 67 needs to be changed to ipxe.efi. If other issues, please contact support so we can get you working as soon as possible.

If "Completed" means booting from USB, this is unusable.
We cant get PXE UEFI boot to work on 4.0 -

hello,
still no date outside of "next release"? some laptops cannot be put in legacy mode anymore... i am considering other solution than kace for my upcoming renewal
thanks -

So when is the "next release" supposed to be released?
-
David Jones commented
It's been in the "Next Release" year over year. the workarounds are not practical at any scale.

any update on this? Sitting here with new computers and all having them forced to turn into legacy mode in order to pxe boot into the k2000 is so 1855, but when I check my calendar it says that I am writing this in 2016. So any ETA?

This would be a big help, without it we have to start looking for an alternative solution.

Any chance this is coming in the next update? We are getting machines that we want to use Secure Boot and need UEFI boot.

+1, (well, 3 votes actually) for UEFI .PXE boot.
We are getting a lot of tablets and ultrabooks that won't boot any other way. USB boot hmm yes it does work but takes a lot of messing around. -

I can boot ok using flash drive, I am having a problem accepting the license key after I have extracted the Window 8.1 ISO.

It's nice that UEFI is partially supported by use of a USB drive. It would also like to see UEFI supported for PXE booting.

Has there been any progress on this, as the new Dell 7240 we are receiving are using UEFI and Windows 8, this is new to me and I don't know how to make a scripted install work,

I agree with the comments.
Furthermore, big HDD's such 3 or 4 TB need that. -
Joseph Blake commented
This will be important for Windows 8 support

TO Clarify the issue we are having is that you cannot specify the boot environment and as such the setup doesn't start in EFI mode.
