How can we improve the SDA?

  1. Guys, please, it's time to implementing IGMP instead PGM. Where are you Kace developers?

    All the most popular switches are handling IGMP instead PGM. Please, KACE, go ahead with IGMP support for K2000.

  2. Remove support for SMB1 protocol on K2000

    We use Rapid7 to scan our network for security vulnerabilities. As of version 7.2.97 on the K2000, the vulnerable and deprecated SMB1 is still present.

  3. Using chained scheduler task instead of runonce action for post-install task.

    Unsing runonce action to execute post install task need to automaticaly open an administrator session at fisrt boot. On slow computers sometimes, this session is fully open, and it looks like a security risk.

    Why don't use chaind scheduler task instead? This way we don't need to open a session to do post-install tasks.

    It would be relatively easy to do this with SCHTASKS

  4. Add VNC to Task Engine in windows.

    Add VNC (maybe as a checkbox option before deploying) to the Task Engine after image/scripted install is pushed for remote support during post-installation tasks in windows.
