Customer running their environment on hyperV would appreciate running the RSA's on hyperv.

This request has been implemented in the SDA (K2) 4.0 release

We also need the Hyper-V support!

I utilize Hyper-v on Server 2012 exclusively across our enterprise. Please add Hyper-V support for RSA.

Another vote for Hyper-V support. Please bring this soon.

It seems to me that offering Hyper-V support would be a no brainer. Please Please Please offer support for Hyper-V.

Can we please get a response from Dell Kace telling us when this will be available?

After attempting to convert a RSA to a vhdx, I've come to the conclusion that Dell has the system files locked down as to where the bootloader cannot be accessed. If i could repair the installation, I could have a fully functional RSA in a vhdx format. Also, most people have a Microsoft server running at all of their offsites. Hyper-V is just a plugin from there. Heck, why not create a package that's the Hyper-V Server 2012r2 with the RSA preinstalled? That seems pretty legit for a turn-key solution.
VMware has become unreliable as in management. Don't get me wrong, we use VSphere for our production servers, it just makes no sense to spend that kind of money on "desktop" machines whereas Hyper-V can be installed and maintained on, say, a Cisco UCS for "free". There aren't license issues for socket numbers, RAM, or anything else. All hardware can be utilized easily.
I do understand that FreeBSD has issues on 2008r2 Hyper-V, but Microsoft made compatibility changes for the NFS file system in 2012r2 (including NIC and offboard storage).
There is no reason now why there hasn't been a vmdx file created for a RSA (unless if Dell/Kace gets a cut from VMware).
We manage 4000+ endpoints with Dell/Kace. The RSAs need to be able to be managed in an easier fashion (such as Microsoft's Hyper-V manager).
I can't stress this enough: Please create a vhdx file for a RSA.

Hyper-V intended for all remote sites...having to run a second box with VMware on it just for RSA is pointless.

We have the capability at all 200 sites. right now we are stuck shipping old workstations to each site with RSA on virtual Box running on top of linux. Not an ideal solution for an enterprise. Please make Hyper-v support a priority.

I have Hyper-V running at remote sites already. Since the K3000 runs in Hyper-V, is RSA support on the way?

Ken Loftus commented
We definitely need Hyper-V support for our RSAs.

YES! And not only for the RSA but for the V1000+V2000 as well. Using player is not good.

I would SOOO much rather gen up a high-end PC with Hyper-V 2012 than just a 7 machine like we currently have.

This has been active for so long with no action that I guess it's not going to happen, but it sure would be nice because we would certainly prefer to use the Hyper-V hosts we already have in place at each physical location over introducing something another product to have to support, even if it can be done for free with VMPlayer.

I also have Hyper-V running at all of my locations. I am running ESXi 5 Hypervisor but thats the only machine in my network and I had to dedicate a server just to run that. I have plenty of space on my Hyper-V servers to add an RSA at the remote locations.

Yes, We have several sites all running HyperV and it would be so easy if we could just add another VM for the RSA instead of purchasing hardware for Vmware and licensing.

We setup Hyper-V on all our remote sites, very flexible and very easi to maintaine/upgrade. Veru cheap as well.

Yes, please! We already have hyper-V capability and it is just sitting there. Now, we have to waste another piece of hardware for the RSA component. Thanks!
