Bring back features from version 9 and 10
Every new version takes away a bunch of features, would really like to see all the ones from 9 brought back. Esp the ability to synchronize folders to network shares, migrate settings between computers, etc.

Restrict User access to Asset Management based on Role
I have created user roles with Asset Management access. However, we have several teams that use the Asset Management feature of KACE.
I want to restrict their access to Asset Management further by only giving them WRITE access to the assets they manage and READ access to all other assets.

MFA for Desktop Authority Expert Assist
I think it would be a great option for Desktop Authority's Expert Assist to be able to be configured with Multi-Factor Authentication. Whether it be using Cisco Duo, or Google Authenticator, or another authentication app. I think this would make Expert Assist a little more secure, and allow the protocols used to be upgraded to something newer. I think this would definitely help cut down on Malicious attacks that could be performed through Expert Assist if someone had gotten into the network. Be able to create multiple printers in bulk in Desktop Authority Console.
I have customers who they need to create more than 100 printers in Desktop Authority. For every printers, they create 3 entry.
1- Install the printer per computer by default.
2- Install the printer in user profile (not set by default)
3- Delete the printer.If the customer has 100 printers, we need to create 300 entries in Desktop Authority. It would it be nice if we can import a CSV file to create in bulk thoses printers.

UEFI Boot
Not so much an idea as a complaint. When is Quest Kace going to address the UEFI boot issues? New machines do not have the ability to PXE boot to the K2200. Using a USB key "workaround" is ridiculous. This has been a known change for some time now though even the latest update did not address it.

2FA for Remote Control for increased security
Implement support for 2FA for remote control of endpoints (at the point of connection) to increase security compared to solutions from other vendors.

Disable Weak Ciphers/Protocols in Expert Assist
We need the ability to disable the use Weak/Outdated ciphers. We have disabled 3DES, TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on all of our windows systems, however TLS 1.0, TLS 1.1 and 3DES still appear on our security scans on port 2000. EA is NOT utilizing the security configuration that the Windows system is configured for. For example TLSRSAWITHNULLSHA256 is showing as an active cipher on port 2000 when that cipher is disabled on the windows system. Please provide a method to select what ciphers EA will use.

Kace Patching - Prompt user snooze highlighted not ok
hello, we are using the kace schedule to patch machines however a few times the prompt user window has displayed with the highlighted button for ok rather than snooze (the ok button restrats the machine)and as the prompt has come to the foreground the user not notiicing it has hit enter on their keyboard and the machine has restarted without them wanting to. So i think the highlighted button should be snooze

Integrate File Operations with off network support in AWS & Azure
Off network support was great idea taken half way, we really need this integration to go all the way and support file operations. This will really set Desktop Authority free and support the 1000s of business who now find themselves with home workers and no immediate return to the office plan.
Having the ability to do simple things like deliver files, templates and much more advanced file routines to remote user needs to be a top priority.

USB file extension control
USB port security should offer more granular control over the data that can be read/write from the USB.

allow drive mapping with certain user credentials
It should be possible to pass certain user credentials for mapping a network drive. As written in this kb article (https://support.quest.com/de-de/kace-desktop-authority/kb/106951/is-it-possible-to-pass-credentials-when-mapping-drives?kblang=en-US) this is not possible. Also other options (like mapping without drive letter) might be useful.

Isssue with the date format
If the server is setup in another date format than english, Kace DA crashes.

Have the possibility to change the options of the icon of the DA agent
Actually, we can not modify the values of the options of the DA icon. And by defaut, the option "Lock Workstation" is selected by defaut.
My suggestion is the possibility to can change the default option et x=can disable the others options.2 votes -
View pending changes before replication
It would be very beneficial to view what changes are pending replication be fore actually replicating. When more than one admin has access to make changes, they can see if another admin has been changes and verify that it is safe to replicate the changes in their current state.

Consolidated Profile History
In each Profile, there is an option to view the change history. I would like to see this ability added to the parent Profile section to view a consolidated history of all changes made to all sub-profiles.

Add Validation Logic Rule - Directory Exists
Please add a Validation Logic Rule that checks whether a Directory Exists or not. There is a "File Exists" rule but there are plenty of circumstances when a directory needs to be validated for existence.

KACE Appliance Linking
I would like to see the ability to link DA with the SMA. I'm sure this would not be an easy thing but to be able to see DA information in the SMA, such as logs, Expert Assist, seeing a computer is reporting in on DA off-network where the SMA cannot see it, importing and distributing new SMA Agents when they become available, and more, could be a big benefit.

Be able to control User Configuration Profiles programmatically with an API
We would like to be able to control (User) Profiles in Desktop Authority with an API, for example REST API. With User Profiles we are refereeing to the Profiles that are located in Desktop Authority under Client Configuration.
We would really want this feature because we have approximately 70 User Profiles spread across multiple Desktop Authory installations / Active Directory domains.
Use cases:
• Create a User Profile for a new customer

Remove snooze button from scripting message windows
When using the "Create a message window" option in the scripting engine, the message box displayed to the user should not include a snooze button - or at the very least, when configuring the message window, there should be an option to show or hide the snooze button. Often, we are using the message window solely for informational purposes for the user, (ie. to notify them that a process is about to begin).
