    Thank you for the suggestion, we do really like the idea of finding more enticing ways to provide top user contributions. By time period as you suggest is one way we could do this. We also like the idea of using topics as verticals so that there are subject-matter experts recognized for their contributions and knowledge.

    For now, you may look to your activity feed but the intention is to make the content counts on the profile page link to search results that will limit the items returned to the relevant data.

    Yes, this is needed, and also useful would be an option to make your activity history visible to others browsing your profile.

    We are indeed planning to address this. As answers are sorted by rating it is not reliable that your new entry would always appear on the bottom. We intend to provide a success message and highlight the new entry in the near future so this is less confusing. Thank you!

    Definitely. We have some clean up to do and are working to see if we can provide a simple way to crowd source so helpful members of the community like yourself might be able to participate.     We are looking for an intuitive way to provide this capability. One method would be to support the exclusion of certain tags in search results (right now it is inclusive). Would love to hear any ideas members may have for a good way to do this (will likely need to be some method of tag filtering)
