    Still under review after more than three years? Come on, Quest! This is a big part of the product that we've had to disable. Can't you just throw some code into the Dell Update task to suspend Bitlocker and re-enable it when the task is completed?

    This is vital, especially for Dell patching. We've had several users required to enter the 256-bit key after a BIOS update cycle.

    If they're WinXP, it sounds like you just need to use SteadyState with a local profile. For Win7, you can use mandatory profiles.
    Or set a written/verbal policy in your organization that only HR is allowed to use those computers.

    This is a great idea. We will need to first blend the software and managed install functions into the software catalog in order to do this. This is something that will take a while to implement, but certainly has our interest.

    Great idea, but until that change can be implemented, try creating a new MI for uninstallation, with a label for that purpose. When you want the software removed, just switch labels.
