You can do this now. Ticket lists have auto-refresh. Just login an account on a computer connected to your large display and set the auto-refresh. May not be able to set it as "read only" but just don't leave the keyboard/mouse out in the open if you don't trust people in that area.
I concur. Important that it not be limited to one set of ldap credentials system-wide. We get our user import from a different ldap server than our computers.

Absolutely. A previous employer used Footprints, and I miss the ability to be able to assign groups (generically) and multiple explicit technicians to tickets. This is a high priority for me.
