Thank you for your suggestion. I have put this in our product feature backlog. Please vote for this feature if you are interested so we can move it up the priority list. If a workaround is discovered, it will be posted here.

Though the "category" field is dynamic, that is the only field in a ticket with that ability. It would be great to be able to add as many dynamic/conditional fields as we want.

I'm glad to see role-based access in version 8.0 of KACE. The current config only covers half of this request: user's access to devices. The other is access to specific scripts. Here is another feature request for (I think) the same: https://kace.uservoice.com/forums/82699-sma-k1000/suggestions/33982258-restrict-execution-of-scripts-in-run-now-to-only

This is a pretty good idea. Until we get around to implementing such a feature, you can actually “delete” it (we don’t really delete, just hide). Once you are happy with it you can “Show” it again. Deleted/Hidden content is only viewable by the author and admins, others just see a message that the content is hidden with a reason when available.

I like the idea of a “this helped me” counter for comments. Voting doesn’t work so good here because votes change the display order so the highest voted are on top and comments need to remain a linear fix-ordered list.
The concern here is that there are several ways to vote, rank and rate things already and adding another could increase the complexity of the site overall. That said, doing something here is a good idea so we will do more research to determine what would work best.
