I believe this has been solved in a later version

Still waiting for this one. There are common folders that would have files that are excluded. Such as downloads or my docs.
    This is related functionality: https://kace.uservoice.com/forums/82699-sma-k1000/suggestions/31351081-custom-software-catalog-entry

I agree. There are some folders that need to be excluded or included for the catalog scanning. Just having this ability to adjust where the scan is happening would go a long way in cutting down a lot of extra noise in the cataloged data. We struggle with continually coming across a discovered executable that is just on the system but is not actually installed. This causes many hours of work to sift through who uses software and who just happens to have it in a folder.

This is under consideration but not planned for the next release, Please continue voting if you’d like to see this feature prioritized for a future release.

We use this idea across queues now by creating the ticket and then transferring to a different queue. Along these lines can we also add where the action "save and create child" works on child tickets? See https://kace.uservoice.com/forums/82699-sma-k1000/suggestions/31350586-save-and-create-child-for-projects

EDIT: We can do most of this with SQL but changes are messier and we cannot get HTML emails from a rule so these templates are better suited for that.

Agree. and similar to this: https://kace.uservoice.com/forums/82699-k1000/suggestions/3987437-allow-a-user-to-patch-on-demand

Lots of complaints. So, my votes count as representative of 700+ users :)

Agree. Also would add the end user needs a way to start patching if snoozed. We have 90% laptop and they only are in during business hours. That means patching during the day... yay! They can snooze for a couple of hours at a time but they can never start when they actually have time so it passes into the next day or another snooze. Lots of complaints. So, my votes count as representative of 700+ users :)

I would also like to add the ability to change when the survey goes out and for which catagories of tickets to exclude. In other words, every 5th or 10th or xth ticket gets a survey. And when using processes and a catagory to match for that ticket queue, exclude the survey option for process tickets in that queue

    Additional background:
I have 7 techs that push software but have nothing to do with creating the installs or packages. This would allow the techs to respond to requests for software that is under IT control and not cause my packaging team additional headache.
